Expo Tour
Take a quick
tour of the many things to see and do at the Earth Day Expo...
Entrance
As you enter
the Expo, stop by a Welcome Tent to pick up an Expo program, get directions,
check out the door prizes & enter the drawing, and make any donation to the Expo
to receive a "It's Cool to be Green - Expo Supporter" thank you gift. Check back
on your way out to see if you've won your preferred door prize in the hourly
drawings, and to pick up your gifts on your way out (limit one per donation).
Wellness Area
As
you walk east on 3rd Street from Main Street, the Wellness Area occupies the
large parking lot to your right (south), just west of Water St. As you enter the
Area, the Massage Tent will be to your left. Stop on your way in or out for a
free massage from Irene's Myomassology Institute. Wellness exhibits, including
healthcare practitioners, wellness media, as well as nutrition, exercise and
yoga providers, can be found in the large tent straight ahead. Activities (yoga,
workout) and presentations will be scheduled
throughout both days, at the Wellness Activities & Stage tent next to the
Exhibits. A meditation labyrinth (shhh!) in the parking lot's NW corner rounds
out the Wellness area (except in the event of rain).
Water Street
Exhibits
As
you return to 3rd Street, you can't miss the colorful Blo-Kart
wind-powered land racing vehicles. Continue east on 3rd and turn left
(north) at Water to check out the Farmer's Row and right (south) for the
Renewables Row.

food production, as well as on food choices that are healthy for you and
the Earth.

energy, including a wind turbine from Geo-Renew, renewable energy
equipment displays, biodiesel and electric boats.

its development lot in Auburn Hills to the Expo, and also including the
latest in hybrid vehicles from Ford and local dealers.
Food Service
The
food service and dining area will be located in the west parking lot of
the Firehouse. Mind, Body & Spirits restaurant and Whole Foods Market

Parks staff will offer a free climb. Then check out
the hike and bike exhibits where you can meet for a trail hike with Team

naturalist (see activity schedule). A covered bike rack area is available there as well. A

find the Paint Creek Trail. Take the trail north through the Rochester
downtown walkway or south a short distance to the Clinton River and

non-profit organizations and local/state government agencies will
provide education and advocacy exhibits and non-commercial roundtable

are a unique opportunity for community-building through interaction with
subject matter experts and networking with others. Stroll through the
Cafe', stop in at exhibits, and keep an eye out for topics of interest
to you, which are posted at each table. Don't be shy about joining or
leaving a roundtable discussion.
