Education
& Advocacy on Earth Day!
The Earth
Day Expo has a great venue, major marketing effort and large audience to
promote the earth-friendly message of nonprofit organizations and government
agencies.
We are
focusing the Expo around green education and advocacy, and introducing a
Connections Cafe’ where you can share your message in an open-ended,
informal, and non-commercial roundtable setting, located at the center of
the Expo. We are also offering you booth space and presentation
opportunities, and looking for your input in developing expo programming. We
invite you to include or develop activities (i.e. bike/trail rides,
recycling programs, tours, petition drives, kid’s activities, etc.) that
will attract attendees and improve the quality of their experience.
Connections Cafe'
The
Café will give Expo visitors a chance to join small roundtable discussions
on topics and issues relevant to sustainability.
Discussions
at each of the roundtables will be facilitated by a Connector, who will
offer practical experience and useful resources. The topic tables will be
very interactive and can be joined and left at any time throughout the Expo.
This open format will allow participants to both gather and share
information and viewpoints on a number of topics and issues of their
choosing.
The session
will offer 15+ roundtables on a wide variety of topics which will focus on
individual opportunities for going greenhile improving quality of life, and
strategies that can best be achieved through cooperative efforts at the
community level (neighborhood, city, region, state), including efforts to
promote the cultural changes needed to implement community solutions.
Join the Expo for Free!
There will be no charge for your
participation but we do ask for your assistance in promoting the event through
your email, newsletters and networking and by distributing marketing materials.
We hope you will join us under the
Earth Day banner to promote a bright, green
future. Please contact us at
